The Baresi & Caine × Brabham “Stella BT19” is a landmark collaboration created to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the 1966 Formula One World Championship, a defining chapter in motorsport history.
In 1966, Sir Jack Brabham achieved what no driver has accomplished before or since: winning the World Championship in a car bearing his own name. At the wheel of the iconic Brabham BT19, powered by Repco, he secured his third Drivers’ title and cemented a legacy built on independence, innovation, and engineering courage.
Created in partnership with the Brabham family, this limited-edition timepiece honours that extraordinary achievement six decades on. The Stella BT19 draws inspiration from the engineering purity and mechanical precision that defined the 1966 campaign, from its meticulously crafted mechanical movement to design cues influenced by the clean, purposeful lines of the championship-winning car.
In tribute to Brabham’s legacy, only 35 timepieces will be produced worldwide, a deliberate nod to the team’s 35 Formula One Grand Prix victories, ensuring rarity befitting such a singular moment in sporting history.
Crafted by Baresi & Caine, the Swiss luxury watchmaker renowned for bespoke creations and high-profile collaborations, the Stella BT19 represents far more than a watch. It is a statement of craftsmanship, performance, and enduring vision.
Designed for collectors, motorsport enthusiasts, and connoisseurs of fine watchmaking, this 60th Anniversary Edition captures a once-in-a-generation achievement, a celebration not simply of victory, but of daring to build and win on your own terms.
A tribute to greatness, Engineered for those who understand it.

Crafting Elegance
One Second At A Time
The watch is housed in a highly polished stainless steel case, finished to a flawless mirror sheen. Every surface reflects light with clarity and precision, reinforcing the refined yet commanding presence on the wrist.
Securing the timepiece is a highly polished stainless steel deployment clasp, engineered for both comfort and durability. Set smoothly into the clasp is an 18ct gold B&C monogram, seamlessly integrated as a subtle mark of exclusivity and craftsmanship.
The case architecture is bold, sculptural and contemporary, a modern performance case executed with traditional Swiss finishing standards.
The dial is crafted from forged carbon, paying tribute to Brabham and their pioneering engineering mindset. Carbon represents strength, lightness and technical evolution, the very qualities that defined Brabham’s dominance.
Dominating the dial is a functional rev counter inspired by the Brabham BT19.
-
The rev limiter is calibrated to the exact limit used by Sir Jack Brabham in 1966, creating a direct mechanical connection to history.
-
A sweeping seconds hand at the 9 o’clock position drives the rev counter display, mirroring the build and release of engine power.
Set proudly on the carbon surface is an 18ct gold REPCO logo, honouring the engine partnership that powered Brabham’s championship success.
The dial features applied indices and the B&C logo positioned at 12 o’clock. Both the hands and indices are filled with Blue Super-LumiNova, delivering high-performance visibility with a cool, race-inspired glow in low light.

POWERED BY THE BC102MR CALIBRE
The In-House BC102MR Micro-Rotor Movement by Baresi & Caine is developed entirely in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, to deliver superior performance through intelligent design and top-tier Swiss components. Engineered by Baresi & Caine’s master horologists, the movement incorporates Swiss-made regulating organs, while bridges and main plates are produced in Baresi & Caine’s workshops. The result is a timekeeping mechanism that exemplifies both precision and elegance.
Ultra-Thin Calibre
With a compact thickness of just 3.70 mm, the BC102MR movement allows for slimmer, more elegant cases, ensuring the watch maintains a refined, streamlined profile.
Bi-Directional Micro-Rotor
To optimize performance, the movement is equipped with a bi-directional oscillating micro-rotor made from 18ct Gold, achieving the ideal counterweight to enhance winding efficiency. This thoughtful construction secures an impressive 70-hour power reserve, providing reliable precision and longevity.
Glucydur Balance Wheel
At the heart of the movement, the Glucydur balance wheel is crafted from a robust, low-expansion, non-magnetic alloy. This material offers exceptional resistance to deformation, magnetic interference, and temperature fluctuations, ensuring remarkable stability and accuracy. This highly resilient alloy underscores the movement’s commitment to performance, making the BC102MR a paragon of both technical and aesthetic achievement for Baresi & Caine.

In 1966, Sir Jack Brabham achieved one of Formula One’s greatest feats by winning the World Championship in a car bearing his own name, defeating established giants such as Ferrari. Brabham was never about following the establishment; it was about challenging it and redefining what was possible.
That same mentality defines Baresi & Caine. As an independent Swiss watchmaker, the brand is unapologetically taking on the traditional powerhouses of the watch world. Brabham recognised in Baresi & Caine the very qualities that defined their own historic triumph, innovation, engineering integrity, and the courage to compete against the biggest names in the industry. This collaboration is therefore far more than symbolic; it is a meeting of kindred spirits who believe legacy is built by those bold enough to disrupt the status quo.
Like Brabham in 1966, Baresi & Caine is proving that independent vision, when matched with uncompromising engineering and Swiss precision, can stand shoulder to shoulder with and even surpass the established elite. In doing so, the brand is not simply participating in the future of luxury watchmaking; it is helping to define it.
Baresi & Caine named their very first timepiece the Stella, derived from the Italian word for ‘star’ as a symbol of origin, ambition, and guidance. Just as a star provides light in the darkness, the Stella represented the brand’s first spark of inspiration and the beginning of its journey into haute horology. It was conceived as the guiding light for everything that would follow, a statement of intent, a commitment to craftsmanship, and the foundation upon which the future of Baresi & Caine would be built.
Welcome to the world of Baresi & Caine, Welcome to the BT19 Stella Limited Edition, where the journey truly begins.
