Roger Burnett

During the mid‑1980s, Roger Burnett emerged as a pioneering force in British motorcycle racing—making history as the first-ever pole sitter in the Superbike World Championship and claiming victory at the legendary Isle of Man TT. His legacy, however, extends far beyond his time on the track.

Today, Burnett remains a driving force in the sport as manager and mentor to many top riders who have collectively achieved 5 world championships. His most recent being WorldSBK rider Ryan Vickers, who competes aboard a Ducati Panigale V4 R for Motocorsa Racing. Their partnership has brought Vickers into the global spotlight, with Burnett’s guidance proving instrumental in his development during his debut season at the world level.

Roger Burnett approached the design of his watch with the same clarity and intent that defined his racing career.

He chose a Carrara marble dial for its purity and heritage, a timeless material that reflects precision, restraint, and quiet confidence. At its centre sits a 1-carat diamond set into the crown, a single bold statement symbolising achievement rather than excess.

In contrast, Burnett deliberately opted for non-diamond screws in both the bezel and caseback, favouring authenticity and mechanical honesty over ornamentation. Crafted in stainless steel and finished with a black leather Nappa strap, the watch is a refined expression of balance where motorsport heritage, personal taste, and understated luxury meet.

"As a life long watch collector, the moment I first saw a Baresi & Caine watch, I just had to have one."
