Before Baresi & Caine became devoted exclusively to Pièce Unique watchmaking, the Maison created two exceptional numbered collaborations, each conceived around a machine, a history and a name that shaped motorsport.
Honda. Brabham.
Sixty pieces. Then thirty-five.
Two finite chapters that would help define what came next.
Individually Numbered
The Honda RC164 belongs to an extraordinary period of motorcycle racing, a machine born from an obsessive pursuit of engineering, precision and performance.
That philosophy became the starting point for Baresi & Caine. Rather than simply place a name upon a dial, the intention was to translate something of the machine itself into the watch.
Created as a series of sixty individually numbered pieces, the RC164 became one of the Maison's defining motorsport collaborations.
Sixty watches. One shared piece of racing history.
Individually Numbered
The BT19 carried Jack Brabham to the 1966 Formula One World Championship, making him the only driver in Formula One history to win the title in a car bearing his own name.
For Baresi & Caine, the story offered something rare, the opportunity to interpret not simply a racing car, but an achievement inseparable from the man whose name it carried.
Thirty-five individually numbered timepieces were created, each drawing its identity from the BT19 and one of the most remarkable chapters in Formula One history.
The number was chosen deliberately. Days before the 1966 World Championship began, the BT19 made its first statement at the BRDC International Trophy at Silverstone, a race run over thirty-five laps, and won by Jack Brabham in the very car that would carry him to the title weeks later.
Thirty-five watches. One extraordinary legacy.
Sixty. Then thirty-five.
Two collaborations that explored what could happen when a timepiece was created around a particular machine, history and identity.
Today, that philosophy has evolved further.
The number has become one.
One commission. One owner. One watch.
Sixty. Then thirty-five. Then one.
