Our Guide to Preserving Precision, Elegance, and Longevity

At Baresi & Caine, each timepiece is crafted with precision engineering and timeless design. To ensure your watch continues to perform flawlessly and retain its pristine condition, follow these expert care tips and guidelines:

1. Store It Safely When Not in Use

When your timepiece isn’t being worn, always return it to its original Baresi & Caine presentation box.

This specially designed case offers a secure and protective environment, safeguarding your watch from dust, moisture, and accidental scratches or impacts.

Keeping it in its box also prevents unnecessary exposure to light, humidity, or fluctuating temperatures.

4. Avoid Magnetic Fields

Strong magnetic fields can affect the accuracy of your watch. Avoid placing your timepiece near magnetic items such as phones, speakers, or magnetic clasps when storing or charging devices.

2. Ensure the Crown Is Secure Before Water Exposure

Many Baresi & Caine timepieces are engineered to withstand water, but proper preparation is essential.

Before wearing your watch in water, always ensure the crown is fully screwed down. This ensures the case is airtight and maintains its water resistance rating.

Failure to secure the crown may allow water to enter the movement, potentially causing irreversible damage.

Important: Avoid operating the crown or chronograph pushers while submerged.

5. Service Periodically

To maintain optimal performance and preserve the intricate mechanics, we recommend a professional Baresi & Caine service every 3–5 years.

This ensures internal lubrication, seals, and precision movement continue to operate as intended.

3. Clean Gently & Regularly

To keep your watch looking its best:

  • Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to wipe down the case and bracelet.

  • For more thorough cleaning, lightly dampen the cloth with water (avoid soap or chemicals).

  • Dry immediately and thoroughly after any exposure to water.

6. Wear With Care

Your timepiece is designed for daily wear, but like all fine instruments, it deserves mindful handling:

  • Avoid harsh impacts, drops, or abrasive surfaces.

  • Remove your watch when engaging in activities that could lead to knocks, such as sports or heavy-duty work.

Your Baresi & Caine timepiece is more than a watch—it’s a legacy. With these simple care practices, you can preserve its elegance and engineering for years to come.
